Need a ride to a medical appointment?
Medicaid programs can help eligible members get necessary transportation to covered care when they do not have another way to get there. This is often called non-emergency medical transportation, or NEMT.
- 01Check your Medicaid card
Call the member services or transportation number on the back.
- 02Call before your visit
Advance notice is usually required. Ask your plan how early to book.
- 03Have the details ready
Bring your Medicaid ID, appointment time, provider address, and any mobility needs.
